Catching Terrorists Using Snickers Bars

From the Russian "Izvestia" daily:

For the whole summer Caucasus was shaking. Wahhabis arranged terrorist acts against the police, hunted the top-ranking officials of the republics, killed an interior minister and blew up a car of President Yevkurov.

Afterwards roads were covered with snow and the paths were blocked. According to available information, a part of the detachment of Doku Umarov went abroad through the mountains of Dagestan to spend winter there.

Not the whole detachment leaves usually. A few tens of militants may hide in Chechen gorges. Now when mountain passes are covered with snow and delivery of food from abroad is impossible, bandits eat snickers bars.

This is a nutritious and compact product. They even cook a soup from it. That is why special control is established over supply of this strategic product. Those who buy more than five bars at once are under special control.
