Friday Prayers As A 'No' To Khamenei

TEXT SIZE - +
"I'm Happy" blogger Shangoolam thinks critics of the current establishment should turn out in high numbers for this week's Friday Prayers:

[Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani] will lead this week's Friday Prayers and [reformist presidential candidate] Mir Hossein Musavi and [ex-President] Mohammad Khatami are also due to attend.

Many are planning to attend, and many who are against [Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei think that going there won't do any good and in a way would lead to magnifying Rafsanjani.

But I say that it doesn't matter who is sitting up there [leading prayers]. What matters is that that person is against Khamenei; and because he is against Khamenei, we have to support him.
