'Green Opposition Movement Doesn’t Exist'

TEXT SIZE - +
A member of Iran’s parliament, Mohammad Nabi Rudaki, has said that the green opposition movement doesn’t exist. Rudaki made the comments in an interview with Iran’s official news agency (IRNA).

"I have no belief in the existence of the Green movement or similar political currents. These sorts of currents have no existence," said the Iranian lawmaker.

Freud, of course, thought denial was a defense mechanism.

About This Blog

Written by RFE/RL editors and correspondents, Transmission serves up news, comment, and the odd silly dictator story.
