An oddly moving film, said to be taken in Iran in 1975.

I was living in Iran at that period of time (1971-78) and while there certainly may have been youngsters at schools or parties in the north of Tehran who dressed in that manner, it was not something I ever saw in the streets of Tehran or even in private homes, shorts in the streets, never!!!! I think the title, "Iran before Hijab" is quite misleading. You could also video alcoholic parties today in parts of Tehran, but it wouldn't make sense to call it, "LIfe in Iran after the Hijab" except ironically.

I can barely read Persian but the title at the end says "Iran before the revolution" so I dont know where the reference to hijab came from.
