Putin As A Young Man

TEXT SIZE - +
In March, we blogged about a picture making the rounds that possibly shows a KGB-era Putin as a "tourist" meeting U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1988.

There's another one in a "Wall Street Journal" piece on Putin's past from 2007. It has a great photo of Putin as a KGB recruiter in East Germany in the mid 1980s.

Check it out here.

CORRECTION: I didn't read my colleague's email properly and the "Wall Street Journal" piece wasn't from "today" as I had originally, but from 2007. Fixed in the text. Sorry.

There's a wide series of pictures of Putin online since long time and it was easy to conclude that he was not the guy with Reagan, but of course no one bothered to check .

Nothing great in WSJ photos .
