ULAN-UDE, Russia-- A Russian researcher has been found dead in the Russian Republic of Buryatia, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.
Aleksandr Ryabykin, from the central city of Novosibirsk, had been missing in Buryatia's eastern Sayany Mountains for about one week.
Ryabykin, a biologist, had been conducting research in the mountains. An investigation is being conducted.
