MOSCOW -- Russia's ruling United Russia party is holding memorial gatherings in Moscow and St. Petersburg today to commemorate victims of terrorist attacks in Russia in the last 10 years, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.
The events, entitled "Russia against Terror," will also remember the 26 victims of last week's "Nevsky Express" train bombing.
The organizers of the event will hold a live, televised dialogue between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Taking part will be Russian State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov, St. Petersburg region Governor Valentina Matviyenko, and other leaders of the United Russia party.
