Three Russian Police Jailed For Killing Armenian

SARATOV -- Three police officers in the southern Russian city of Saratov have been found guilty of killing an Armenian citizen and sentenced to long prison terms, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.

The men were stripped of all rank and awards and sentenced to 23, 21, and 20 years in prison.

They were found guilty of beating, torturing, and burning to death Armen Gasparian in October last year.
