WATCH: The protests targeted Iran's embassy in Kabul.

Hundreds of protesters organized by the Afghanistan Solidarity Party have gathered in front of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul to protest that country's ongoing fuel blockade, RFE/RL's Radio Free Afghanistan reports

Some of the protesters chanted, "Death to Ahmadinejad" and "Hands off Afghanistan."

They threw stones and eggs at the embassy and burned photographs of Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad.

The protest was staged to oppose the stoppage of nearly 2,000 fuel tankers bound for Afghanistan and alleged killings in Iran of Afghan refugees.
