VIENNA, June 6 (NCA) -- The head of the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency today said he hopes the agency can finish its probe of Iran's nuclear program in the next few months.
Speaking at a conference in France, Mohamed ElBaradei also said he hopes a second report Tehran has provided -- after the first report was found to be incomplete -- will provide a full history of Iran's nuclear activities.
ElBaradei's comments come after the IAEA last week said its inspectors in Iran found more traces of highly enriched uranium, which can be used to make atomic weapons.
Tehran today said it has now given a complete explanation of those recent findings, saying the enriched uranium came into the country on equipment it acquired on the international black market.
