Bosnian Serb police said Teodorovic was arrested on the basis of a Croatian police and Interpol warrant.

No further details about Teodorovic's case were revealed.

Teodorovic was transferred to the state court of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo, which is expected to decide about his extradition to Croatia.

The international community has applied diplomatic pressure to authorities in the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska and elsewhere to capture and hand over fugitive war crimes indictees, including former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic.
