Afghan Troops Kill Seven Taliban

March 27, 2006 -- Afghan soldiers have killed seven suspected Taliban militants during a prolonged battle in the south of the country.
Afghanistan's Defense Ministry says another six Taliban, six civilians, and one Afghan soldier were injured during the incident, which occurred on March 26 in the Sangin district of the southern province of Helmand.
