Georgian Troops Wounded In Iraq

July 27, 2006 -- The U.S. military says gunmen opened fire on Georgian troops in Iraq today, wounding five of them.

The attack took place in Khairnabat, near Ba'qubah, which is about 65 kilometers north of the capital, Baghdad.

Four of the soldiers were treated for injuries and returned to duty, while another is still receiving medical care.
