North Korea Accuses U.S. Of Belligerence

North Korea said it will strengthen its defense system as a result.

The U.S. military said on September 1 that it had shot down a ballistic missile target over the Pacific Ocean.

North Korea said the U.S. move "clearly shows" that United States "is increasing tensions on the Korean Peninsula."
