Purported Al-Qaeda Videos Mark 9/11 Anniversary

Sept 11, 2006 -- The second-in-command of the Al-Qaeda terror network, Ayman al-Zawahri, today urged Muslims to intensify their resistance against the United States and warned of new terror strikes.

He was speaking in a video aired by CNN on the fifth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington.


A second videotape purportedly from Al-Qaeda showed footage of the network's leader, Osama bin Laden, over the past five years.
