The gunmen killed Armenian Prime Minister Vazgen Sarkissian, parliament speaker Karen Demirchan, and six ministers and deputies.

The five gunmen, who burst into the parliament chamber during a government question-and-answer period, said they wanted to punish corrupt officials.
