Turkish media reported that 25 people were arrested in the central province of Konya, with the others detained in Istanbul as well as areas in the southwest and southeast.

The operation follows the indictment last week of three people including the alleged Al-Qaeda commander in Turkey, who was purportedly planning bomb attacks.
