The U.S. military added that three more U.S. troops were killed in fighting throughout Iraq.

The military confirmed that a helicopter went down today near Taji, north of Baghdad. It was the fourth such loss in Iraq in two weeks for U.S. forces.

Meanwhile, the city of Al-Najaf is under curfew in the wake of clashes on January 28 between members of a Shi'ite sect and Iraqi and U.S. forces.
