Estonia, Georgia Vow To Stand Together Against Russia
May 8, 2007 -- The presidents of Estonia and Georgia have vowed to stand together in the face of angry rhetoric and threats from Russia.
Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, on a visit to Tbilisi on May 7, said "democratic countries need to stick together."
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said his country supported Estonia in its row with Russia over the removal of a Soviet war memorial from central Tallinn.
