Second Uzbek Athlete Fails Doping Test At Asian Games

A second athlete from Uzbekistan has failed a doping test for a banned stimulant at the Asian Games.

The Olympic Council of Asia said that Jakhongir Muminov, a 23-year-old wrestler, tested positive for Methylhexaneamine and was disqualified from the games. He did not win a medal.

On November 19, Uzbek judo athlete Shokir Muminov was disqualified and stripped of his silver medal after testing positive for the same stimulant.

Organisers said the Muminovs are not related.
