TEXT SIZE - +
At least 15 people in northwestern Pakistan have been reported killed in a blaze involving a truck carrying fuel supplies for NATO forces in Afghanistan.

Officials are quoted as saying the truck had been hit by a suspected bomb explosion, and the casualties occurred when villagers came to collect oil leaking from the vehicle and there was apparently another blast.

The incident today took place near Landikotal in the Khyber tribal region.

In another development in the same region, at least 14 other NATO supply tankers were reported to have been hit on May 21 in a suspected bomb attack in the Torkham area of Khyber.

No casualties were reported as a result of the attack.
