International Olympic Committee Receives Five Bids From Prospective Host Cities

The Azerbaijani capital, Baku, is on of five cities to submit a bid on time for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) says the five cities in the running to host the 2020 Summer Olympics have submitted their bids on time.

Tokyo, Madrid, Istanbul, Doha and Baku, Azerbaijan, are competing to host the games.

The IOC, which will vote for the host in September 2013, can still trim down the list to a smaller group of candidates in May after reviewing each of the candidate files.

Rome had also been interested, but the bid was dropped on February 14 after Italian Premier Mario Monti refused to provide financial guarantees.

Baki running for-Baki can only run from and it set the world and olympic record for running from armenians,a record which only the brave azeris can improve.First of all my dear ones baki will not survive till 2020 no matter how many billion $$$$ the west and israel pour into that unhappy colony of azeri kurdish kgb satraps.Up to now they bought themselves some medals and a `Euro`blind vision song and belly dance contest and today`s olympians would like the thieves to win the bid -it just means more money for the highly principled olympians,but sorry,my dear azeri kurdish brothers and sisters-you`ll have to do with this year`s win by Ali Babaly Allahtan Ilhan.
