The heads of state of Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia have pledged to "continue with the politics of reconciliation and resolving numerous remaining open issues."

Croatian President Ivo Josipovic hosted his Serbian counterpart Boris Tadic and the members of Bosnia's tripartite presidency -- Zeljko Komsic, Nebojsa Radmanovic, and Bakir Izetbegovic -- made the pledge at an informal meeting at an Adriatic resort on the Brijuni islands.

In their joint statement, they highlighted the need to address border issues and to clarify the fate of the estimated 15,000 people still reported missing from the 1990s wars in the former Yugoslavia.
