On "Persian Letters," we've previously reported about the artistic skills possessed by the head of Iran's Basij force, Mohammad Reza Naghdi, who, along with cracking down on opposition activists, appears to be a budding poet.

A few months ago, Naghdi wrote a poem about a "soft war," which Iran claims its enemies have launched against it with the help of the Internet and social media.

In the poem, Naghdi refers to Twitter and Facebook, and writes that neither site has succeeded in corrupting young Iranians. You can read the poem, which I translated into English as best as I could, here.

Well, now Naghdi has penned a new poem, this one addressed to the "Great Satan" -- meaning the United States -- in which he writes that it will "burn" with irritation from the results of Iran's March 2 parliamentary elections.

The four-line poem, which doesn't lend itself to easy translation, describes the 1979 Islamic Revolution as an avalanche for the United States and says next month's vote will be yet another cause for anger in America.

Persian speakers can read it here.

March's parliamentary elections -- the first since the 2009 disputed presidential vote -- are of critical importance for the Islamic regime, which needs a high voter turnout to reestablish its legitimacy as it confronts escalating international pressure over its nuclear program and popular discontent at home.

Unlike Naghdi, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -- himself a poetry fan -- was strictly prosaic when he said on February 15 that a big voter turnout will give the enemy (meaning the United States) "a strong punch in the mouth."

Khamenei also said that "the enemy" was making efforts to suggest that Iranians have lost faith in the causes of the Islamic system.

But citizens "thwarted" all conspiracies with their massive participation in rallies last week to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, he added.

The Iranian leader, however, failed to mention the scattered "silent protests" that opposition members reportedly held in Tehran and other cities on February 14 amid heavy security measures and warnings.

Those rallies commemorated another anniversary: the first demonstration called by opposition leaders Mir Hossein Musavi and Mehdi Karrubi in solidarity with the uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

I'm not insulted as long as he used "Great" in his illation.

And it's funny he notes "heroin" because those responsible for it's trafficking within Iran proper are also members of it's elite.

Esfandiari Golnaz, I looked through your translation.
I wouldn't call him a poet, not only because it is a rap,
Not only because he looks as Chaldea pristhood's dop,
But because, starting with Muhamed from Median nation
That had nothing to do with biblical "Aman" from Susianna
He calls "Muhamad Islam... ...Arab" his Babilon Hisballana.
Poetry is truth of soul, heart or mind not lie of "Babiloniana".

If USA was "the enemy failed hunting him with gun",
(USA stopped Iran-Iraq war and didn't want to use it)
If "the enemy came back with lowly hired musicians,
The Internet and musical instruments" to pervert him,
(The Stalin's time Kartveli, Balanchini and classic art,
Pushed away by Russian influx of vulgarity, dworfed)
If "failing rein, enemy came with an eye catching doll",
(Why look at a doll? Why not at first wife, or them all?)
If American "bombs and missiles failed to scare him",
(USA tried be friendly to Iran even after hostage taking.
Is it A-bombing Israel, or Georgia that Russia forging?)
If USA "... with rumor-spreading Twiter and Facebook",
(Both are floated by Russia, god-father of Iran's bomb)
If against Iran and Georgians "used chimical weapons",
(chimical weapons were used by Iraq, Russian "Husik",
and in Georgia by Russians, god-father of Iran's bomb)
If Naghdi said the "World has been opened to the truth",
What would he call lie - that Muhamed is not Babilonian?

Muhamed's ansestors, Medians from river Kura,
Lived at Holly Mountain, at time of Bible exodus
They later brought guard Holly Stone to Akaba
And were high prists. When Muhamed calling
Lead him to his Faith, not unlike the Georgian
Christianity, it was hospitality, justice, truth...
Later he accepted also laws of the deserts.

Chaldean Messopotamia was just opposite.
They betrayed Ibero-Caucasian settlements
And started Sumer and Babilon Enlargment.
Telepaths witchy pristhood spread elements
To old Worlds, including Persian conquests.

Iran consists of annexed Media and Albania,
(In North-West, Ibero Caucasians), Persians
(From wastness of Persia) and "Chaldeans",
(Remnans of old pristhood of Messopotamia).
Last one incited Persians betray "Median UN",
To bild Empire. It looks as Naghdi is their son.
