Bomb Blast At Bazaar In Quetta, Pakistan

Authorities in Pakistan's southwestern city of Quetta say a bomb exploded in a crowded bazaar on December 24, injuring at least 28 people.

Police told RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal that the explosives were planted on a bicycle and were detonated in Quetta's Prince Road shopping district at about 2000 local time.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which damaged several shops.

RFE/RL has been declared an "undesirable organization" by the Russian government.
