Argentina has defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina by a score of 2-1 in the Balkan country's first ever World Cup tournament game.
Argentina jumped to an early lead in the Group F game when Bosnia's Sead Kolasinac scored an own goal in the third minute of play – a nightmare start to Bosnia’s World Cup debut.
Argentina's Lionel Messi scored the second goal 65 minutes into the game.
Substitute Vedad Ibisevic got a late consolation goal with just five minutes remaining in regulation time to become the first player to score a goal for Bosnia in a World Cup game.
Despite the loss, Bosnia can still advance to the next round by winning its remaining Group F games against Nigeria on June 21 and Iran on June 25.
