Scores of people are reported to have been injured in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in clashes between football fans and police.
A Health Ministry official quoted by Egypt's state-run news agency said more than 70 people were injured in the clashes on September 6, some 50 of them police.
The clashes occurred at Cairo Stadium during a match between the Al-Ahli club and Kima Aswan.
Reports say the violence began after fans shouted abuse against the police and former President Hosni Mubarak.
Mubarak, who was ousted after a mass uprising in February, is currently on trial in Cairo with police officials on charges of ordering the shooting of hundreds of protesters during the revolt.
The trial resumed today, with new witnesses set to be questioned.
The ailing Mubarak was brought by a helicopter from a medical center where he is being detained. He was rolled into the courtroom on a stretcher.
The latest hearing is the fourth in the trial which opened on August 3. Mubarak denies the charges.
The process is being held behind closed doors and off-camera.
