China Executes Two Uyghur Suspects From Weekend's Violence

Armed members of China's special police corps stand guard near the site of an attack in Kashgi in the far-western Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

Local authorities in western China say they have shot two ethnic Uyghurs suspected of participating in an attack in the city of Kashi (also known as Kashgar) in the west of the Xinjiang region.

The statement said the two were "executed on the spot by police who were in the process of capturing them."

Chinese authorities accused Muslim "religious extremists" who advocated "jihad" and were led by people "trained in overseas terrorist camps" of orchestrating the violence that left at least 18 people dead and scores injured.

The state-run Xinhua news agency, citing a statement from the Kashi government, said on August 2 that an initial police investigation found that the leaders of the group behind the violence had learned about explosives and firearms in Pakistan at a camp of the separatist "East Turkestan Islamic Movement."

Ethnic tensions have been high in Xinjiang, the traditional home of the Muslim Uyghurs, for years due the influx of Han Chinese moving there to work in the expanding oil industry.

Nearly 200 people were reported killed in clashes there in 2009 in fighting in Urumqi between Muslim Uyghurs and Han Chinese.

If these Uyghur freedom fighters! had been trained by terrorists groups in Pakistan where are their improvised explosive devices?, why have they not sabotaged! that largely unguarded rail system of China's??,a tactic employed by truly experienced terrorists cells which have attacked Russia,India, and America in the past. It is said truth is the first casualty of war, while the PRC occupier have taken Uyghur's land! & lives, the butchers of Beijing can never posess Uyghur's liberty,& culture SHEM ALLAH.

I am afraid that there will be more and more attacks will happen in Uyghur land if the Chinese government and the Chinese immigrants give a high pressure to the native people like this.
The Uyghur is one of the peaceful nations in the world and they even dont kill an insect easyly
why dont you go to the Uyghur land and see everything by yourself before condemning the action?
Why dont you search the word named Uyghur in youtube to understand the Uyghur people if you cant go the area by yourself?
Uyghur was one of the civilised nations in the history and they used to have an independent country.
Uyghur people have been fighting for the freedom right after the Chinese and Manju army begun to occupied the Uyghur land at the Qing dynasty.
Non of the Uyghurs likes to kill the peaceful sivil, but most of the Chines immigrants at that reagon are not legal ,they do all the bad things such as openning the illigal prostitution house in order to destroy the Uyghur culture as much as they do and Chinese government always cover up their illegal behavior.
Chinese government call the fighters for freedom as terrorist in Uyghur land and some people have accepted this theory simply becouse the some Uyghurs are Muslim.
The media running by China is the biggest liyer
in this world and the other media rarely go there for report.
I am afraid that there will be more and more attacks will happen in Uyghur land if the modern world ignore the Chinese governement ehavior like this.
