KYIV -- A Ukrainian women activist group has staged a protest action in front of the residence of India's Ambassador to Ukraine in Kyiv, RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service reports.

Four topless Femen members were knocking on the doors of the Ambassador's residence shouting "Ukraine is not a brothel!"

Police detained all four. The demonstration came in response to reports in Indian media that Indian consular sections in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan had tightened visa application screening for women aged 15-40, to prevent the travel of sex workers to India.

From Kolkata I feel that it is a Shocking news !! Should not have happened to any "WOMAN" in Ukraine Or in any part of the world which includes my country India as well. As an Indian at home I can only say that Govt.Of India Or the common Indian people at large do not support "skin trade OR human trafficking. It is against our Culture,Philosophy & Moral values. I am sure that the Ministry for External Affairs,Govt Of India is & will take appropriate action against this "mafia chain of the skin traders".

Ukraine and Moldova are two major suppliers of cheap prostitutes for much of Europe. It looks like the Ukraine is now trying to monopolize prostitution in India
