President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has officially launched Iran's latest foreign-language television news channel -- a 24-hour satellite broadcast aimed at Spanish speakers worldwide.

The new channel -- called HispanTV -- has been test-broadcasting since autumn of last year from offices in Tehran, using a staff of Iranian, Spanish and Latin American journalists.

It joins another Iranian channel, Press TV, which broadcasts in English but whose London operations lost their British license in January on the grounds it was being controlled editorially from Tehran.

Iran also finances an Arabic channel -- called Al-Alam -- and three other outlets that broadcast programs in Turkish, French and Urdu.

A propaganda outlet of ruthless Iranian Ahmadinejad regime that persecutes its own citizens in terrible ways and that demands conformity to a code that harasses, imprisons or even kills those who are different - and that now expands its vituperative coverage with the cooperation of autocratic Latin American régimes in Latin America such as Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and Cuba, in order to try to subvert support for pluralistic democratic priniciples and social structures.

This Iranian Spanish-language service obviously arises from the crude attempts by Venezuelan strong-man president Hugo Chávez Frias who has poured money into his own massively anti-American,pro-dictatorship TeleSUR project.

But see for yourself the hatred, propaganda, and cultural ethno-centrism spewing out of this Iranian channel HispanTV: http://www.hispantv.com/
