Former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic has slammed the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal as a puppet of NATO, calling it "biased" against him and other Serbs.

At one point during proceedings in The Hague-based court on February 23, Mladic held up photographs of his family and brandished a photo of himself in his old Bosnian Serb army uniform, complaining that his wife was not allowed to bring it to him -- presumably to wear in court.

Mladic faces 11 counts of war crimes, including two counts of genocide for allegedly masterminding Serbian atrocities in the Bosnia 1992-1995 war. He denies the charges.

His trial is scheduled to start on May 14.

Presiding Judge Olphons Orie finally cut Mladic short by turning off his microphone and adjourned the hearing.

Srebrenica had a population of ca. 5,600 in 1992 of which around 3,000 were muslims. I don't know where you got the number of 8,000 but you cannot have more victims than citizens. Serbs lost the war against the USA now they have to subdue like we all did some time in our history.
