Hovercraft Landing Joins List Of Odd Videos Out Of Russia

Just another day at the beach in Russia's Kaliningrad exclave.
Just another day at the beach in Russia's Kaliningrad exclave.
At first glance, it looks like a clip from a Jerry Bruckheimer film -- fun to watch, but more likely the product of a Hollywood studio than a real-life Russian beach scene.

Or not.

A video showing all 500,000 kilograms of a military hovercraft beaching among Russian tourists is apparently authentic.

WATCH: Russian military hovercraft crashes the beach party.

Russian news reports say the amphibious ship, nicknamed "Bison," coasted ashore in a village in Kaliningrad, a Baltic Sea port lying between Poland and Lithuania.

According to the Russian daily "Komsomolskaya pravda," a spokesman for the Defense Ministry said the hovercraft was simply beaching in "wild waters."

"What people were doing on a beach in a region of military training is not clear," he added.

The hovercraft video is just the most recent in a growing list of rather odd user-generated videos from Russia that have come about largely thanks to the proliferation of dashboard cameras. Here are some highlights:

WATCH: The sudden tank crossing, in the working-class city of Nizhny Tagil

WATCH: The surprise air show by a Russian fighter jet, near the southern city of Volgograd

WATCH: The most nonchalant meteor sighting ever, in the city of Chelyabinsk

WATCH: The parasailing donkey, at a tourist resort near Krasnodar

Wow, this is one more crime of the bloody regime of Vladimir Putin - comparable probably only to what the US-financed Egyptian military did recently when it killed about 1000 civilians on the streets of numerous Egyptian cities.
But we know already from persistent RFE/RL reports: the time will come and Putin will have to answer for having crushed the beach party in Kaliningrad. Right after Bashar's "last days" will have finally come :-)).

Eugenio, threatening Putin and his "regime" again?
Last several times you threatened Putin and Obama,
14 month ago, you said it was me - under your name,
Convince Putin and Obama - with your Russia-Mama
And CIA kill my mother and me, for Russia-breed gain.

No big deal, if Russians develop landing naval means,
Like Sea landing planes and land landing troops ships,
However, it is made, probably, for invasions - it's mean.
Specially because Black, Caspian and Baltic Seas clips
Of Russian preparations mean scare non-Russian's kids.

Well, Konstantin, thanks God, Putin - unlike you - has the sense of humour. Good that you moved to the US - this country of dull primitive idiots who have no sense of humour and pride themselves for slaughtering people, be it in Afghanistan, Egypt or Syria, and for persecuting people who - like Manning and Snowden - dare to say the truth about the crimes committed by the govt of the disgusting country you happen to "live" in.

Humor? You and partners got killed my mother 7/7/2012!
Bestially! No humor for me - I never lived, neither in USSR,
Nor in USA. While on surface both playing "Cold War" game,
Or end of it, they stealing my intellectual property and maim,
Secretly slandering against us and hitting us for resistance
To create and be plagiarized by both usurping entities.
