A screen grab from the "Nude Photo Revolutionary Calendar" video, which claims to be part of an effort to support "women's rights and free expression."
This video of topless Europe-based Iranian women is making the rounds. They say in the video that their nudity "is a 'no' to political Islam."

The video is indeed provocative. But it's unclear how the video or "purchas[ing] a copy of the Nude Photo Revolutionary Calendar" would actually "go towards supporting women's rights and free expression," as the clip states.

It follows a recent video campaign to promote a handful of actors as well as bodily and artistic freedom in which Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani appeared partially nude. That video, for the French magazine "Madame Le Figaro," sparked heated debate among Iranians on social media after it was released in January.

Farahani (who appeared alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2008 film "Body Of Lies") had previously said she'd been discouraged by Iranian authorities from returning to the country.

"Nudity is primitivity."

Look to the human history, from the arcaic times to modern ages.

Nobel men and women clothed every time. Only prostitutes, slaves, poor peasants... were nude. Covering the body with a clothe, making secret for others is = freedom. But being nude, showing your body parts (specially women body) is immoral thing. Only slaves have not right be clothed.

All celestial religions orders to women, be clothed, protect your honour from "others". Religions order women, be clothed, its good to protect your honour, saving your female value.

İslam is earthly and etheral religion. İslam is every point of life, Muslims can not be "laic". And can not leave life system to secular monsters. İf you do not love İslam, you can enter another religion. İf you do not love do not stay, go, but do not try to change a religion's borders.

"Covering the body with a clothe, making secret for others is = freedom"
No it doesn't. Learn Islam. Covering the body = slavery. Slavery to Allah and Him commanding Muslims to wear close and cover the body parts which are not suppose to be visible. If you rebel against Allah and get naked that is "freedom".

i do not need to learn İslam from a Wahhabi Chechen boy. God was draw borders, you stay in = you are free. You stay out = you damage yourselves, you will be a slave. Believers are not slaves.

Most of Chechens are using İslam to sell their national advertisements, but they are damned nationalists. İslam never accept nationalism, but every Chechni-ingushetski boys are nationalists. Most of Chechens are not true muslims, they have not got true information about İslam. A wahhabi guy come, and he can simply use Chechens - in the name of the god - and Chechens let them to use themselves. Because Chechens are still in the middle age clan system.

About İran. These people believe Shia, not true İslam. Shia is dirty İslam, because of middle age Arab nationalism, İranians were build their own İslam = Shia. İran use Shia , with the same aim of Wahhabi Chechens. To use it for nationalism, to build a nation's religion.

Wahhabi Saudi-Arabia is using İslam to nationalism too. Wahhabism was build by Arabian nationalists, to earn a "natioanl religion" for Arabs.

Real Muslims will come, i hope. And they will erase all false things.

"i do not need to learn İslam from a Wahhabi Chechen boy."
I am not a Chechen. I am not a Wahabbi, I am a Muslim (slave of Al-Wahab) that is how Allah calls me. Al-Wahab is one of the names of Allah you play with the name and twist it the way you like it, that is your choice and "freedom".

"God was draw borders, you stay in = you are free. You stay out = you damage yourselves, you will be a slave. Believers are not slaves." Could you please provide some proof for the things you just wrote? Does the word Abdallah (Slave of Allah) has any meaning to you? Why do you think Muslims name themselves that name since Prophet's (SAW) times?
"It is only those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, who fabricate falsehood, and it is they who are liars." [al-Nahl 16:105]

"Wahhabi Saudi-Arabia is using İslam to nationalism too. Wahhabism was build by Arabian nationalists, to earn a "natioanl religion" for Arabs."
You wrote so many lies. During Hajj millions of Muslims (including Iran) come to Mecca, and Saudi Arabia lets the Muslims in.
"Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and the overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as is practiced by people of all colors and races here in this Ancient Holy Land, the home of Abraham, Muhammad, and all the other prophets of the Holy Scriptures. For the past week, I have been utterly speechless and spellbound by the graciousness I see displayed all around me by people of all colors."-Malcom X
I am not sure what your problem is.

Well, there Darkest-skinned-Arab:
You say:
" İf you do not love İslam, you can enter another religion. İf you do not love do not stay, go, but do not try to change a religion's borders."
The only problem I have with that is the fact that if you actually DO leave Islam, you are branded an Apostate and you can be MURDERED on site by any Muslim, try reading your own book before you comment.....

only an İslamic state can decide this, its not personal. State will decide to kill or let free that man who left islam, to save other Muslim citizens. Beacuse when you leave İslam, it means you are not responsible with any religion and rules. Muslim state judge a Christian with Christian Bible, judge the Jewish with Torah's rules. But an athesit ? This man do not respect any rules, he accept everything to reach his aims. This man is dangerous.

When you leave a religion you will be a dangerous man... you can damage Muslim people or other citizens, so state must stop you. Killing is not a term, may be "stopping the diseased one" is true term. State will analysis the situation, and decide what can do for you. İslam never burn people - that thay accused for being witches. Throwing rocks on a prostitute to punish her, is a Jewish ritual.

İslamic state can decide cut a thief person's hands, can decide kill a man who rape to woman... but only a state can decide these, to save citizens. Not personal.

This is why the world is the way it is ^. People believe you must have a religion or you are evil or a bad person. Religion to most instils fear....be good or else you don't go to heaven, therefor they are good, but their purpose to get something out of it, which is bad. I am a good person because I want to be. I help those in need and ask for nothing nor do I want or expect anything in return for anyone or thing, I just do not like to see others hurting. I know of many who claim to be religious yet are quick to anger or point blame or steal from their fellow man. You do not need religion to be a good person.
I ask this....If God does not exist would it be necessary to create one? I think there was a time when this would have been necessary, and I think that for many it may still be necessary.

Women have every right to ask for equality to men, and eve for more rights since they are the ones that bring life and beauty into this universe.

But what these "ladies" are doing is nothing else than throwing their own decency and self-respect as women and as human beings to the trash. What you think you're going to win? Do you really think that by cheaply sealing your bodies for your "cause" you're going to get any other attention that people calling you the W word?

What these women, and what most of the Iranian expats truly are is a bunch of Islamophobics. Period. Any form of "wanting Iran to be free" comes only after the anti-Islamic lashing.

"Women have every right to ask for equality to men, and eve for more rights since they are the ones that bring life and beauty into this universe."
Right … and men should ask for equality to women too. One of these equality rights should be ability of men to give birth to a child. Start working on that too :))
Now seriously I'd like to tell you that there is no such thing as equality. A handicapped person is not equal to a man whose health is in perfect condition. A man is not equal to a woman. There is no equality, there is equity in front of Allah the Creator of the Universe, the Most Merciful the Most Fair who gave us everything we need.

Equal in the legal sense, in the not suffering gender discrimination sense, in the not being abused and exploited sense.

Then in the organic, in the biological, in the psychological, and pretty much every other sense...yes, men are not "equal" to women and women are not "equal" to men.

No, everyone is not born equal, but all should have have equal rights in society. Equality under the LAW, not equality in physical attributes, as you well knew but are trying to confuse the issue. And we all know how well sharia works in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Maldives etc etc etc to the benefit of women and non muslims. And your comment, "there is equity in front of Allah the Creator of the Universe". No "EQUITY". Now that's what I call harsh.

Salami to you.

It is unclear why If a woman wants
to protest against something she must have to be naked.
For effect strengthening?...or what?...
In Russia, for example, if a person is trying to prove something he (she) used to drink a glass of vodka for courage, begins to use foul language, trying to punch an opponent in the face..
Also in Russia, after a couple of glasses of vodka they like to remove pants or lift skirt and showing his (her) fifth point to the enemy

Uncle Volodya for example removed wrinkles with Botox and does not get out of the gym to show his body:"Look at me! I'm 58, but I'm in good shape."

Probably still for effect strengthening of protest, this Iranian woman stripped...not very convincing

A woman's honor is in her honesty, courage, and compassion for others. Not in her fashion choices.

There is nothing wrong with nudism.

Beautiful freedom seeking women, all I want to say is that All men a superior to women in what men do and All women are superior to men in what they do, so this makes both sex's are equal between each other. You are doing something very bold and brave, I praise you for that, only in free countries not in bondage under Sharia law or islamic control you and all women can be safe from opression of your indivisual beliefs and rights.

What a sad day it is when women have to resort to antics of this sort to gain attention for their/a cause. Actually, infact it is not at all difficult to perceive what is in fact going on here. I wonder who put them up to it! The “exploiters” will use any and every reason for advancing their agendas. Fools fall for it. Foolish women fall for it. Intelligent, smart, clever women don’t. If I were an Iranian woman, I would not stand for their sisters being exploited in this manner. There are more honorable ways of standing up and fighting for a cause. I pity these women and curse the people who exploit humanity;man or woman, for their own ends.

I dont understand why are they yelling "sexual discrimination in Islam" ... When a Muslim women wears Hijab its Oppression/Discrimination and When a Nun wears similar dress, she is Pious. A christian women doesnt have right to in her Parents propoerty if a male child is present. Whereas Islam gives right to women for the property. Yet these So called self styled "Revolutionistas" yell its discrimination ....

Holy Qur'an says : "Every Soul shall taste Death " (Quran : 3:185)

For Sure they will meet him and be rewarded for they sowed, For God said, its not HIM that's unjust to mankind, but mankind itself is unjust to HIM ...
