At least 35 people have been killed and hundreds wounded in violent clashes between protesters and police that reemerged this week despite a "truce" agreed between President Viktor Yanukovych and opposition leaders on the night of February 19.

Reports of the use of live ammunition in the confrontations is supported by video footage, while EU officials continue to urge a political resolution.

RFE/RL's Power Vertical host Brian Whitmore interviews RFE/RL's Ukraine Service journalist Natalia Churikova to get the latest in this fluid and rapidly developing story.

Your broadcast was very informative. Like Natalia described, I see that Putin and his gang are also referring to the Ukrainian protesters as fascists and terrorists. Is is obvious to the world that the Russian leadership is part of the gang of thugs and mafioso that hail from the Donbas. Natalia's description of the manipulation of the criminal element by Party of Region officials and police officials was chilling. Again, thank you for the broadcast.
