Unrest Continues In Bahrain

TEXT SIZE - +
Violence has erupted in Bahrain between protesters and security forces.

Reports say security forces clashed with mourners during a funeral march in Muharraq, north of the capital Manama.

Mourners say 24-year-old Yousif Muwali died in police custody, something authorities deny.

The clashes left several injured along with many cars damaged.

Clashes were also reported in several areas across the small Gulf island on January 21, with tire-burning protests to demand the release of political detainees.

Patrick, your Mum is calling you from Al-Khalifa palace, better get home before dark! The people on the streets demanding democracy and basic civil rights will eventually triumph despite Washington's attempts to keep the status quo.
