WASHINGTON -- The United States has added the Iran-backed militant group Hizballah to its list of organizations sanctioned for ties to the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

A Treasury Department statement says the designation highlights the Lebanon-based group's "integral role in the continued violence the Assad regime is inflicting on the Syrian population," including the provision of "training, advice, and extensive logistical support."

The department also says Hizballah, designated by Washington as a terrorist organization since 1995, has coordinated its support to Assad with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' Quds Force.

U.S. Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence David Cohen said, "Long after the Assad regime is gone, the people of Syria and the entire global community will remember that Hizballah, and its patron Iran, contributed to the regime's murder of countless innocent Syrians."

This is more American and Saudi hogwash to destroy and weaken all Shi'ite countries, and then to enslave the masses.

Hezbollah is supported by US, just like Saudi Arabia. US loves its Wahhabi Sunni minions. US is biggest sponsor of terrorism.

No good news for Syrian communities and their country
so far, except some restored ballance of holding between
Syrian government that suppose represent most communities,
and rebels, that suppose represent Suni Arab communities.
Still both sides drifting to uncompromising.
Was government told be tough by Russia-Cheremushka?
Were rebels told fight till "World Bagdad Halifat" by Russia,
Britain, Germany and Austria 13-th Warrior?

Since 1954-56 Russians leured British and Bechtel in a pact
to resurect Rusian, British and German-Austrian colonial empires.
Bechtel supplied ethnic Russia with separate stash of tactical
A-bombs, to bomb non-Russian nations during conquests,
they already used such ultimatum in 2008 in Georgia.

To create a lot of confusion and terror, Russian special forces were trained by British and Germans in the West to cut-off human heads.
They made it the main dish of pseudo-Muslim terrorist armies and inspiring their Muslim missguided followers with future
"Bagdad Halifat" (movie "The 13-th Warrior") - as supplimental
to resurecting Russian, British, German and Austrian empires,
squashing other nations in between.

I would advise Syrians be more carefull, also Iranians and Hisballa -
better negotiate between Shia and Suni communities, and the rest of Syrian population.

World Powers always ready for another magical trick, victory of
one side or another can be reversed.

"Rabbet leap" Exon-Mobil Maltusianist and his friends waiting.

Russia that wouldn't mind Iran use few atomic bombs on
Israel and Georgia waiting - for parts of Iran to inherrit.

Their pseudo-Muslim Halifat armies that hope to breed all over
conquered Muslim World by Halifat waiting.

Why all Syrian communities, including government and rebels wouldn't start talk to each other?

US "imposing sanctions" on Hizballah? Ah gosh, how would Hizballah survive without US encompassing love?

This is a step which is although late but welcome! However, it's not going to do much as long as the US administration keeps fliting with the arch terrorist supporter of this terrorist groupuscule.
