PARIS, March 22 (NCA) -- A senior Iranian official says Tehran is determined to develop nuclear power regardless of international restrictions.
Iran's vice president of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Saeedi, made his remarks today at a nuclear energy conference being held in Paris.
Saeedi also reiterated Tehran's official position on the subject -- that Iran is seeking nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes.
France, Germany and Britain are currently negotiating with Iran to ensure that it does not develop nuclear weapons.
The United States says that Iran is using its nuclear energy program to secretly develop arms.
