Vehicle Bomb Explodes In Tajik Capital, Killing One


31 January 2005 -- Reports say an apparent vehicle bomb exploded this morning outside the Emergency Situations Ministry in Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe.

At least one man was reported killed in the blast, and four people were reported injured.

Reports say the blast shattered windows of the ministry and nearby buildings, and damaged nearby cars.

There was no immediate indication of who may have been responsible for the blast.
