Attacks On Iraqi Mosques Kill Seven

In Baghdad, a roadside bomb near a Sunni mosque killed five people.

In Balad Ruz, two people were killed when at least six mortar rounds struck the compound of a Shi'ite mosque.

In the north of the country, armed men attacked an Iraqi army post, killing at least 12 soldiers.

In other news, Iraq's national wrestling team today pulled out of a tournament in the United Arab Emirates, a day after their Sunni coach, Mohammad Karim Abid Sahib, was shot dead in Baghdad.
