Putin, Nazarbaev To Meet Today In Kazakhstan


(RFE/RL) May 13, 2007 -- The presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan are scheduled to have talks in the western Kazakh city of Aktau today.


In Turkmenistan on May 12, Vladimir Putin, Nursultan Nazarbaev, and Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov agreed to build a natural gas pipeline along the Caspian sea coast.


Putin is on a six-day visit to Central Asia.
