Prisoners Of A Stereotype: Caucasians In Russian Film

I personally do not care if Russians portray us in a good way. The separation between the Caucasus and the rest of Russia is so huge that gap will never fill and the bridges of this length will never be made to reach each other. Another waste of time.

Caucassian tribal system is permanently derided by Russians in comparison to their feodal system that they are so proud of.

Thanks God we have all those movies produced by the Hollywood: they are just as free of all kinds of stereotypes as the sky is cloud-free in Saudi-Arabia :-).

The US state-controlled media and Hollywood has been cleansed of any unhealthy stereotypes. For example, in newest Hollywood movies you will never see black men eating watermelons. You will never see a Jew betraying anyone, and all the villains are exclusively white Christian men. And of course, in any setting among the good characters there has to be a representative of each race. Chechens are making a new movie. It will be called "Mudjahid and Swineeaters". The plot of the movie is about how successfully Russians are beaten up by a small nation of one million for centuries. I recommend everybody to see the movie. My favorite part is the capture of Grozny by 900 Chechen rebels vs. 15,000 heavily armored and equipped Russian troops stationed there.

I am Italian, and I know very well which stereotypes exists about my people

but for me this is not a problem, I understand ...

I understand that in the majority of cases
these stereotypes borns from the fact that people
do not know very well each others
and their judgment is based on hearsay

But the Russians ....

Russians know very well caucasians !

Moscow is perhaps the largest caucasian city !

For centuries and centuries Russians and Caucasian were living side by side ,
some time were also fighting
maybe against
maybe side by side

So .... I do not think that any one of us
can have the same knowledge of Caucasian
like russian
especialy if is far thousand of kilometers

were values wanted , maintained , teached and grown .

to score a greater separation between the cultures of this world part

In these 20 years some peoples were led to be divided
for create artificial tensions with their neighbour

In these 20 years there were "strangers"
that has crept among secular equilibrium
for find their own advantage.

I am sorry I am a liar and a father of lies. I will not comment all my lies in the previous post. I will comment only some: 1st lie that the Caucasians lived in peace with Russia. Re-watch the RFERL movie again and notice at 00:00:38 the real time deportation of Chechens from the North Caucasus in 1860s.
2d lie that during the Soviet era there was the brotherhood among peoples, among hundreds of people who lived in the Soviet Union, friendship , cultural exchange, mutual understanding. That's also a lie because In 1917, 1994, and 1999 Russians crushed the independence movements of the Caucasians. In 1944 they deported entire nations with 60% of their peoples being killed in the following 2 years. That fits into the genocide category. I would like to apologize to the RFE/RL I decided to defect from Russia to the West. Wish me luck.

This Russian gibberish makes me sick. All they worry right now is the winter Olympics in Sochi 2014. Russia wants temporary peace, but what she will get is war. Caucasians are not stupid.
