Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has made a number of threatening statements against liberal politicians, activists, and journalists in Russia. On January 22, demonstrators at a pro-Kadyrov rally in the Chechen capital called opposition leaders and Kremlin critics "enemies" and "traitors." The rally came not long after a Siberian lawmaker called Kadyrov "the shame of Russia." RFE/RL's Russian Service reporter Svyatoslav Leontev asked Muscovites what they think of Kadyrov.
