U.S. President Barack Obama paid tribute to the Allied veterans of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France, on the 70th anniversary of the invasion. In his speech, Obama called D-Day -- the largest operation of World War II -- a display of American commitment to freedom and equality. French President Francois Hollande joined Obama in laying a wreath at the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. (Reuters video)
