A ship carrying a reported 263 migrants has sunk off the coast of the Greek island of Corfu, and 22 passengers are missing.
Coast guards say they were alerted on January 15 by a passenger saying that the boat was in danger, but high winds prevented rescue boats immediately taking to the water.
The passengers in the ship were rescued by a cargo ship hours after the call.
Greek radio said several ships, Coast Guard patrol boats, and aircraft were searching for the missing.
