In a joint interview on American television, U.S. President Barack Obama and outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sidestepped questions about whether she would run for president in 2016.
On the CBS News program "60 Minutes," Clinton said, "I don't think, you know, either he or I can make predictions about what's going to happen tomorrow or the next year."
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who is now 70 years old, has not ruled out running for the presidency when Obama leaves office.
During the interview broadcast on the night of January 27, Obama said Clinton will be remembered as "one of the finest secretaries of state we've had."
He added, "It has been a great collaboration over the last four years. I'm going to miss her."
