Pakistan Man Kills 10 Family Members

Authorities say a man in Pakistan, angered by a rejected marriage proposal to his cousin, killed 10 members of his extended family after years earlier killing four others over it.

The Associated Press cites a local police officer, Shahid Khan, as saying the attack happened April 5 in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Khan said the suspect is still on the run.

The victims included an uncle, aunt, and eight cousins -- one of whom was the woman the purported shooter wanted to marry.

AP says in November 2014 the suspect shot dead his parents and two brothers over wanting to marry the woman. He was never arrested for the earlier killings.
