Saudi Arabia is preparing to bury Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud.

Prince Nayef, who was also deputy prime minister and interior minister, will be buried after sunset prayers in the holy city of Mecca.

His body was flown back from Geneva, where he died on June 16 while receiving medical treatment.

He was in his late 70s. His 76 year-old brother, Prince Salman, is expected to succeed him.

Prince Salman is the current defense minister and governor of the capital, Riyadh.

The country is currently headed by 88-year-old King Abdullah.

The succession in Saudi Arabia passes among the sons of Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, who established the kingdom in 1932.

Dictators like Putin, Ahmadinejad and Bashar al-Assad should learn from the democratically elected Saudi family how to organize the most democratic power transfers in the world :-)).

that's right, Eugenio! Putin has a lot to learn from strategic ally of US government - flurishing democracy of Saudi Arabia. For example, Putin still has to learn how to finance and train suicide bombers, how to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on Wahhabi mosques where Saudi imams preach ideals of freedom and democracy to unwashed, how to bribe US government officials so they close eyes on the feasts like 9/11 attack, which was performed by ...evil Russians.. eh.. no, not yet, that was mastered by US government friends and allies - by Saudis.. clearly Putin and Russians are way behind..
