RFE Research, RL Research, and RFE/RL Research Institute Memoranda and Articles

The archives of the former RFE/RL Research Institute were placed in the custodianship of the Soros Foundations in 1995. This collection consists of materials culled from Communist media, underground publications, and other materials from the RFE/RL broadcast region.

The collection is now part of the Open Society Archives (OSA) and is housed in a new archival facility adjacent to the Central European University in Budapest. The OSA has complete holdings from the Research Institute files and regularly responds to outside requests.
