More Than 30 Suspected Taliban Arrested In Kabul

29 May 2004 -- Afghan security agents and international peacekeepers have arrested 36 suspected Taliban militants on the outskirts of Kabul.
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) spokesman Chris Henderson said that the suspects include one man who was an explosives dealer.

Henderson said Kabul city police also arrested a man on 27 May in connection with threats against the NATO-led peacekeeping force.

He said the man had been based at Kabul University and was "apparently encouraging students to conduct suicide attacks against ISAF."
