Black Sea Collision Leaves Two Crewmembers Missing

5 July 2004-- Two sailors are missing after a Russian ship collided with a Georgian cargo ship and sank in Bulgarian waters in the Black Sea last night.
The Bulgarian Transport Ministry says 10 crew members of the Russian vessel were rescued when it sank, but two others are missing at sea.

A search operation is continuing.

The ministry says the Georgian vessel has a hole in its hull but is not in danger of sinking.
